How to check whether your system support UEFI or not

UEFI is a new technology ( not new ) alternate to BIOS. It has lot of advantages than BIOS. BIOS is a old one and UEFI is a new one. We heard many questions when Microsoft release Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. If you have Windows machine , you can easily find whether your system support UEFI or not. Why we write this article ? We have an upcoming post on " How to install Mac OS X 10.8.3 on intel PC's , we use a latest Mac OS X version which support only latest UEFI mode. So if you have old system you can't install it.

How to check on Windows OS

1. Open your local disk ( where you install Windows OS , C drive ).

2. Goto C ( or your System drive ) \Windows\Boot.

3. If you can see EFI folder , that means your system support UEFI mode
